Our Process - Booking to Joining
We have summarised our process, from booking to joining below:
Once your course is confirmed, we email you a Course Invite, summarising course details
Prior to the course, we will send you a Registration Link - you will need to follow this link & complete the form to register for the course
Once you register, you will (i) See a [Join] button on the web page that you can click to join immediately (ii) Automatically be emailed a Joining Link with Meeting ID & Passcode that you can use if you are not joining at the time of registration
Note - You should use the Joining Link rather than the Registration Link to join the course
When you join, you will be placed in the Waiting Room, & will be admitted by our Course Administrator

We typically use Zoom for delivering our courses
Please ensure Zoom is installed prior to the course
We recommend that you install the full version of Zoom if possible - if you can't install the full version, then you can select Join From Your Browser (where no installation is required)
We recommend that you test links once received - if there are any issues opening, please let us know
If Zoom doesn't suit your organisation, we can deliver training via Teams if requested & organised in advance - the same process re links, installation, etc apply

Ensure Desktop Software is Installed
We would recommend that you have 2 screens/ displays for the course - one screen to watch the trainer & a second screen for you to work on
You should also ensure your camera & microphone are working so that you can engage with the trainer
Setup of screens, microphone, speakers, etc. should be completed & tested before the course date
Unfortunately we cannot provide detailed hardware/ software support, so if you encounter any issues, it may be necessary to contact your own IT support

The course will be run using the desktop version of the software (NOT the web version)
e.g. if you are attending an Excel course, ensure Excel desktop is installed
If your course is Power BI, ensure that the desktop version is installed & that it is a recent version (no older than 3 x months)
All software should be installed prior to the course

If we send you files (eg Excel files, PDFs, etc) for use during your course, please ensure you have them downloaded in advance
Once downloaded, check that you can open them
It is recommended that you save the files rather than working directly from Outlook as attachments (eg onto your desktop, network drive, etc)
